Abdullah was born and grew up in Qamishlo in NE Syria. At the age of 16 Abdullah had to flee the war with his family to an Iraqi refugee camp where he lived for six years. In Iraq Abdullah worked as a sports coach, a facilitator for Youth/Child Resilience and raising positivity with parents and families in the camp.
